    Tested Recruits operates as a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform for recruitment. Our platform enables Customer Companies to manage their hiring pipelines.

    • Data Processing Role:Tested Recruits acts as a Data Processor. We process information solely under the instructions of our Customer Companies (the Data Controllers).
    • Collection of Information: Customer Companies may use our platform to collect a variety of information from applicants as they deem appropriate for their hiring needs. This includes, but is not limited to, file uploads (resumes/portfolios), custom tests, surveys, and questionnaires.
    • Third-Party Recruiting & Sale of Data: Some Customer Companies using the Tested Recruits platform may offer recruiting services to third parties. Consequently, data you submit to these specific companies via our platform may be shared or sold by those companies in accordance with their own business models.
    • Independent Policies: Each Customer Company uses data submitted via Tested Recruits according to their own independent privacy policies. Tested Recruits is not responsible for the privacy practices of its Customer Companies. We encourage applicants to review the specific policy of the company to which they are applying.
  2. Information Collection and Use

    For Applicants: We collect information when you apply for a position, fill out a form, upload a file, or take a test provided by a Customer Company on our site. This may include your name, email, phone number, work history, and any other data requested by the employer.

    For Customer Companies: We collect information when you register an account, place an order for a subscription, or correspond with our support team.

    How we use your information:

    • To facilitate the recruitment process between applicants and employers.
    • To personalize the user experience and improve our platform.
    • To process transactions for Customer Company subscriptions.
    • To provide technical support and follow up on inquiries.
  3. Cookies and Analytics

    Google Analytics We use Google Analytics to help us understand site traffic and user interactions. This helps us offer better tools and site experiences in the future. We do not use AdSense for third-party advertising on our platform.

    Cookies We use cookies to:

    • Track applicant progress through multi-step application processes and tests.
    • Manage user login sessions and authentication.
    • Facilitate Customer Company subscription sign-ups and account management.
    • Maintain security and prevent fraudulent activity.
  4. Regional Disclosures

    United States (including CCPA/CalOPPA)

    • Notifications: Users will be notified of any Privacy Policy changes on our Privacy Policy Page.
    • Data Updates: Users can change their personal information by logging into their account or emailing our support team.
    • Do Not Track: Because our service relies on session tracking to maintain the integrity of recruitment tests and application progress, we do not honor "Do Not Track" browser signals.

    European Union (GDPR)

    In addition to the standards above, EU/EEA users should note:

    • Legal Basis: Data is processed based on the necessity of performing a contract (the application process) or our legitimate interest in providing a secure recruitment platform.
    • Rights: You have the right to access, rectify, or erase your data. Because Tested Recruits is a processor, requests regarding specific job applications should be directed to the Customer Company (the Controller).
    • Data Transfers: Data may be processed in the United States. We maintain strict security measures to ensure all transferred data remains protected.

    International Applicants

    For all other global regions, the terms described in the United States section apply. By submitting your information, you consent to the transfer of your data to our servers in the United States for processing as requested by the Customer Company to which you applied.
